Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Atlantic DTF, a brand of Humax Global Ltd (“we”, “us”), collects on atlanticdtf.com, what we do with it, and what choices you have. We’ve written it plainly on purpose.

1. What we collect

• Order information — name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, what you ordered. Needed to print and ship.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We see the last four digits and the card type; we never see or store the full card number.
• Artwork you upload — stored so we can print it and so you can reorder. See section 4.
• Tax documents — resale certificates, if you send one. Stored as required by tax law.
• Account information — login email, password (hashed), order history.
• Support messages — emails and texts you send us, and our replies.
• Technical data — IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, how you got here, and which page or ad sent you. Collected by our web server logs, by Google Analytics and by Microsoft Clarity, which run on every visit. See section 5.

2. What we use it for

• Printing and shipping your order, and telling you where it is
• Answering your questions and fixing problems
• Keeping your account and order history so you can reorder
• Collecting and remitting sales tax, and keeping the records the law requires
• Preventing fraud and keeping the site running
• Emailing you about your orders. We’ll only send marketing email if you opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
• Understanding how the site is used and which marketing brings people here, so we can improve both

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone to market their own products to you. We do share a limited, scrambled version of your order details with Google so we can tell which of our own ads actually led to a sale, and our Google Ads tag lets Google show our own ads to people who have visited this site. Section 3 explains both, and section 7 tells you how to opt out.

3. Who we share it with

Only the people who need it to get your order to you:

• Our production partner, who prints and ships — they receive your name, shipping address, and artwork for each order
• Shipping carriers — name and address, to deliver the package
• Payment processor — to take payment
• Email and hosting providers — the services that run the site and send our email
• Google Analytics — how you moved through the site, which pages and products you looked at, and what you ordered. This runs on every visit; there is no cookie banner to accept or decline, and section 5 tells you how to turn it off yourself.
• Microsoft Clarity — how pages get used: clicks, scrolling, where people stop, and a replay of the visit, so we can find the places where the site gets in the way. What you type into the checkout and account forms is masked in your browser before anything is sent, and card numbers are entered in our payment processor’s own secure fields, which Clarity cannot see at all. Runs on every visit; section 5 tells you how to turn it off.
• Google, for measuring our own advertising — when you complete an order we send Google a hashed copy of your email, phone and address. Hashing turns them into fixed-length strings that cannot be reversed back into the original; Google uses them only to tell whether the person who bought had seen one of our ads, and we get back a count, never a name. If you would rather we didn’t, email us and we’ll exclude you.
• Tax authorities and law enforcement — when the law requires it

Each of them is bound to use your information only for the purpose we gave it to them.

4. Your artwork

Files you upload are stored with your order so we can print them and so you can reorder. We don’t use them for anything else, we don’t display them, and we don’t share them beyond our production partner. You can ask us to delete artwork from a completed order at any time; we’ll do it within 10 business days. Files from cancelled orders are deleted within 30 days.

5. Cookies

Cookies your order needs — cart, login, checkout — are set without asking, because the site cannot work without them.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity run on every visit. We don’t show a cookie banner. We sell only within the United States, where the law gives you the right to opt out rather than requiring us to ask first, and a banner that everyone clicks through teaches nobody anything. So instead of asking, here is how to actually stop it:

• Install Google’s own Analytics opt-out add-on — it works on every site, not just ours.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use a browser that blocks trackers by default. We honour it: with GPC on, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and our Google Ads tag are not loaded at all.
• Block third-party cookies, or browse in a private window.
• Email us at info@atlanticdtf.com and ask to be excluded. We’ll do it and confirm.

Our Google Ads tag also runs on every visit. It sets cookies that tell Google which orders came from one of our ads, and Google can use them to show our ads again to people who have visited this site. It doesn’t tell us who you are. You can turn off personalised ads in your Google ad settings, and Global Privacy Control switches the tag off here.

6. How long we keep it

• Order records, including invoices and tax documents: 7 years, as tax law requires
• Artwork: for as long as your account is active, or until you ask us to delete it
• Account: until you close it. Closing your account deletes it within 30 days, except order records we’re required to keep.
• Support messages: 2 years
• Server logs: 90 days

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy. Email info@atlanticdtf.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We’ll respond within 45 days and won’t charge you for it. We may need to verify it’s you first.

Virginia residents have these rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. We don’t sell personal data. We do use targeted advertising in one form: our Google Ads tag lets Google show our ads to people who have visited this site. You can opt out with Your Privacy Choices below (also linked in the footer of every page), by turning on Global Privacy Control, or by emailing us. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response, and we’ll answer the appeal within 60 days. If you’re still not satisfied, you can contact the Virginia Attorney General.

California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We don’t sell personal information. Letting Google use your visits here to show you our ads on other sites counts as “sharing” under the CCPA, and you can opt out of it with Your Privacy Choices below, with Global Privacy Control, or by email. The hashed order data described in section 3 is used to measure our own ads. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Residents of other states with privacy laws — Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and others — have similar rights and can use the same email.

8. Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Payment details never touch our servers. Access to order data is limited to people who need it to fulfil orders. No system is perfectly secure, and if we ever have a breach that affects you, we’ll tell you as the law requires and as soon as we practically can.

9. Children

The site is for business and adult customers. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think we have, tell us and we’ll delete it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll email account holders and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
