“I speak fluent legalese” in heavy block capitals, a small gavel standing in the top corner and a star between two rules underneath. One colour. Reads like a law-school sweatshirt, which is exactly where it goes.
Two inks. Dark ink for white, grey and light heather; light ink for black, navy and the dark greens law firms wear. Navy with light ink is the one that looks like it came from a campus store.
9 to 11 inches on a front; the gavel is the smallest detail and it holds fine at 9. Also works at 4 inches on a chest — three short lines of heavy type stay clean.
Law students, paralegals, firm holiday parties, bar-exam gifts. Graduation runs in May, and someone always orders twelve at once.
