The Manhattan skyline in a round line-art badge — One World Trade at the centre, cloud lines above, water lines below — “NEW YORK” arched across the top and “EXCELSIOR” (the state motto) across the bottom. One colour, all line.
Two inks. Dark ink for white, cream, sand and heather; light ink for black, navy and charcoal.
10 to 11 inches on a front. The building windows are fine detail; under 9 the skyline turns into a comb.
New York is a short carrier leg from our press — this one sells to the Virginia and Carolina buyer who’s from there, and to the travel-boutique rack. Steady, not seasonal.
